Earlier this week, Delaware North — a multinational food service and hospitality company headquartered in Buffalo, New York — surprised Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his new fiancee Hailee Steinfeld with a billboard congratulating them on their engagement. In her latest Beau Society newsletter, Steinfeld thanked Delaware North for the kind gesture.

“There’s champagne, there’s beautifully written cards, and then there’s ‘congratulations on your engagement’ billboards,” Steinfeld wrote. “This was a wild and very sweet surprise. Thank you, Delaware North and Buffalo. I’m honored.”

The unexpected couple began dating in the spring of 2023. Steinfeld is an accomplished actress, who has starred in award-winning films such as “True Grit,” as well as popular TV shows like Marvel’s “Hawkeye.”

While Steinfeld shares the big screen with superheroes, Josh Allen routinely displays superhuman effort for the Buffalo Bills. Allen is a frontrunner for the MVP Award this season, finishing the regular season with 3,731 passing yards and 28 touchdowns while only throwing six interceptions.

Allen doesn’t allow his 6-foot-5, 240-pound frame to go to waste, either. The former Wyoming standout racked up 531 yards and 12 touchdowns in the ground game during the regular season.

Of course, Allen still has time for Steinfeld in between his dominant performances. On Nov. 22, Allen and Steinfeld shared a joint photo of their engagement on Instagram, captioned with the date.

After the pair’s engagement was official, Allen was more willing to field questions about Steinfeld.

“The morale, the support. When I get home, she’s my biggest fan, my biggest supporter. She’s just the best,” Allen said, per Business Insider.

Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins has seen a change in his QB1 since Steinfeld came into the picture.

“There’s something about it,” Dawkins said in December. “When you’re in this world that we’re in, and a lot of people pulling at you and a lot of sources of ups and downs of a roller coaster, and you have that one stable person that you can rely on and go home and hug and get a laugh no matter what, I think that’s dope… And that’s what I think is going on.”

Hopefully for Bills fans, Hailee Steinfeld will continue to provide Allen with good luck. On Sunday, the Bills will square off against the Baltimore Ravens at 6:30 p.m. ET in the AFC Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs. The game will air live on CBS.
