While she has one more NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race this season, Hailie Deegan will finish the season engaged. Long-time boyfriend Chase Cabre popped the big question and Deegan was more than happy to say “yes.”

Between NASCAR and Chase’s sprint car schedule, these two are racing all over the place. Now, they are going to be racing towards that wedding date, whenever that is going to be. The 22-year-old NASCAR driver was more than excited to share the news.

On her Instagram, Hailie Deegan and her new fiancé shared the big news. Her Instagram Story shows her telling her friends and family the good news with lots of emotions so be sure to check that out, too.

There is a lot of big news for Hailie Deegan. The next year is likely going to be a busy one for her between racing and getting ready for a wedding. Her duties in the Truck Series are almost through as she prepares to move up to the Xfinity Series in 2024.

For now, there is one more race to finish up the season and her time with ThorSport.

Many were hoping to see more out of Hailie Deegan this season. Her move with ThorSport Racing was supposed to bring her closer to those top-5 finishes and possibly a win. However, that didn’t play out. She was more consistently in the top-20 and top-15. However, only a pair of top-10 finishes all season.

Deegan was P6 at Texas and P8 at Talladega this season. Despite her lackluster performances in the trucks, Xfinity is calling her name. Deegan is going to move to AM Racing and will drive there full-time in 2024. It sounds silly, but she might perform much better in this series.

For some drivers, the Truck Series just doesn’t click. And vice versa. There are those who aren’t able to do much in Xfinity but will rack up wins in the trucks. After her time in the ARCA West Series, with consistent performances and even a few wins over a couple of seasons, Deegan could return to form.

In the upcoming offseason, I’m sure Hailie Deegan has a lot to think about in regard to racing and her life. An exciting time for Deegan and her fiance, for sure.
