Haley Cavinder speaks out as speculation grows on Hanna, Carson Beck breakup

As speculation continues to grow about Hanna Cavinder and Carson Beck’s possible breakup, her sister is speaking out. Haley Cavinder addressed the rumors via TikTok on Thursday.

Rumors about whether Beck and Hanna Cavinder broke up gained steam this week after she appeared to unfollow him on social media. Beck is getting ready to go through spring practice with the Miami football team, and Cavinder plays on the women’s basketball team.

As people ask questions and the speculation grows, Haley Cavinder took to social media to discuss. She encouraged viewers to trust family members if they give advice about relationships.

“I just want to say one thing because I can’t be too crazy unfiltered on here,” Cavinder said. “If your sister comes to you – or you friend or someone that’s really important in your life – and they have a gut feeling about a relationship or a friendship, for example – and they just tell you that on a repeated basis, trust your dang sister. Trust her. She’s always right. I promise you. Or your mom. They’re always right. Anyways, happy Thursday.”

Beck and Hanna Cavinder have been dating since last year while he was the quarterback at Georgia. He then entered the transfer portal after opting to return to college for one more year of college football and committed to Miami, and Cavinder posted a TikTok of the two after his announcement. She later said she didn’t have anything to do with his decision to commit to the Hurricanes.

While Haley Cavinder didn’t get into specifics to protect her sister’s privacy, she said she felt the need to say something. She also acknowledged the amount of attention her sister and Beck are receiving.

“It’s not my story to tell,” Cavinder said. “But yeah. I know there’s a lot of speculation, and I see someone in my life that’s hurting and I don’t think it’s okay to not be able to always keep your mouth shut. It’s a little bit of unfiltered Haley on here. And, yeah. I’m trying to be as nice as possible.”

Beck spent four years at Georgia before arriving at Miami this winter. Last year, he threw for 3,485 yards and a career-high 28 touchdowns, but also had a career-high 12 interceptions after a rough stretch in the middle of conference play. He suffered an injury in the SEC Championship, but is still in the driver’s seat to be Miami’s starting quarterback.
