Harrison Burton delivers NSFW radio rant after losing front bumper at Martinsville

Once again involved in an on-track incident that he had no reason to be involved in, Harrison Burton was furious. He lost his front bumper and then lost his mind on the radio. A tough NASCAR weekend for Burton.
Harrison Burton and this AM Racing team are growing together. This weekend will be a learning tool for the entire group. Because there isn’t much else they are going to get out of it.
Involved in another incident which led to him losing his entire front bumper, Burton lost it on the radio. Listen for yourself.
Harrison Burton has had a rough go of things today. He was involved a little dust-up with Corey Day. The teenage dirt phenom is making his Xfinity Series debut today. However, it ended earlier than he had hoped.
Burton then got caught up in lapped traffic. Just a bad situation that got worse as the race went on. You can’t blame him for being frustrated. He has been good this season, but he wants to take it up a notch. It doesn’t look like he will add a fourth top-10 finish today.
It is no secret that the pressure is on Burton. He lost his Cup Series ride after last season. Before he left the Wood Brothers he did deliver them a win at Daytona last summer. But now it is about proving he can get back to the top level of the sport.
At 24 years old, Harrison Burton has time to develop into a Cup Series regular again. These moments definitely won’t help.

Harrison Burton qualified well, Connor Zilisch won pole
For the third time in his young career and first time on an oval, Connor Zilisch is on the pole for the NASCAR Xfinity Series. Not bad for a road course racer, huh? Zilisch put his JR Motorsports No. 88 on the front at historic Martinsville Speedway.
Carson Kvapil, Connor Zilisch’s teammate will join him on the outside of the front row. They will be just ahead of the two Richard Childress Racing drivers. Austin Hill and Jesse Love will be stalking the two JRM rookies to start this race on Saturday.
How quickly Zilisch has developed his talents on ovals is amazing. He didn’t have a single top-10 in five Truck Series oval starts. In the Xfinity Series, he has already had three top-10 finishes in just 10 races on ovals.
Much like Harrison Burton, Connor Zilisch has had multiple incidents on track. He seems to have a problem hitting his brakes when the caution light comes on. He swept the stages but is now relegated to the rear.
