Heather Gibbs, Joe Gibbs Racing providing RVs to Hurricane Helene victims
As recovery efforts continue for residents in North Carolina, Heather Gibbs and Joe Gibbs Racing are still contributing. Heather, the mother of Ty Gibbs and co-owner at JGR, is using her resources to provide EmergencyRV shelters to families in need.
EmergencyRV provides emergency and transitional housing to victims of natural disasters, with RVs. Heather Gibbs has continued to provide shelter for a family, which was recently highlighted on FOX Weather.
The team is using their social media platforms to share the message. They hope that others are able to give and help EmergencyRV provide shelters for more families.
The NASCAR community has given so much to the hurricane relief efforts. There is still so much to do. People lost everything in Hurricane Helene. The flooding and storms took homes, cars, valuables, and entire communities with them.
It is great to see Joe Gibbs Racing and Heather Gibbs still shining a light on these communities at a time like this. With the holidays in full swing, it is a great gesture from the Gibbs family.
While there is a ton of change happening at JGR as an organization, they are still keeping North Carolina in mind. But things will look quite different at Joe Gibbs Racing in 2025.

Joe Gibbs Racing shuffles crew chiefs after Gabehart promotion
With Chris Gabehart moving up to competition director for Joe Gibbs Racing, things had to change at the organization. And change, they did. Chris Gayle is now the crew chief for Denny Hamlin going into 2025.
That means Ty Gibbs will have Tyler Allen, a rookie as a Cup Series crew chief. Allen moves up from the No. 20 Xfinity Series team that won eight races with four drivers in 2024.
With that move, Jason Ratcliff will return as a crew chief in the Xfinity Series for Taylor Gray. Allen was originally paired with Gray before the shuffle. That’s a lot of movement in an organization for one offseason.
Joe Gibbs Racing will have to prove themselves next year. They might have some early struggles. But if Ty Gibbs can get to victory lane, and Denny Hamlin wins his usual 2-4 races, I think they will view this move as an overall success. It won’t be easy, though.
