LOOK: Hilarious Michigan-Ohio State sign emerges during WWE Raw's Netflix debut
No matter the place, no matter the setting, Michigan fans are here to remind Ohio State that the Buckeyes haven’t beaten the Wolverines since 2019.
One Michigan fan took an opportunity to remind the entire globe Monday night during the Netflix debut of “WWE Raw.” With Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson standing in the center of the ring inside the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, the fan held up a sign which read, “1,864 DAYS SINCE OSU BEAT MICHIGAN.”
And there you go. Now, most of the world — or at least those watching on Netflix — knows it’s been 1,864 days since the Buckeyes took down the Wolverines on the gridiron. That, of course, covers most of Ryan Day‘s tenure as Ohio State head coach.
Day is 1-4 against Michigan, the latest defeat taking place Nov. 30 inside “The Shoe.” Michigan came in a 20.5-point underdog, the second-biggest spread in the rivalry dating back to 1978. But the Wolverines always get up for the Buckeyes, and they did that day.
Ohio State playing for spot in National Championship Game following Michigan defeat
Day and the Buckeyes have done a good job of making up for that loss, soundly defeating Tennessee in the first round of the College Football Playoff last month. Ohio State followed that up with a 42-21 drubbing of previously unbeaten Oregon in the Rose Bowl, clinching their spot in the semifinals of the College Football Playoff.

The only thing standing between the Buckeyes and a trip to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game for the first time since 2020 is Texas. The two bluebloods go head-to-head in the Cotton Bowl this Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Win that game and the subsequent title game against the winner of Penn State/Notre Dame, and perhaps Ohio State fans will forgive Day for his troubles versus Michigan.
“I did feel like if we could get a good win in the first game, we could build momentum,” Day said this past Friday, via Jake Trotter of ESPN. “Now it’s our job to keep momentum. We have it right now, but that doesn’t mean anything if we don’t keep it.
“The Oregon game is over… The only thing that matters is this game right here, playing against Texas.”
