How to watch Marquette vs. Ole Miss: Odds, stream, TV channel in Women's NCAA Tournament
No. 7 Ole Miss will face No. 10 Marquette in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday. They’ll take the floor in South Bend, Indiana with the winner having their shot at No. 2 Notre Dame on their home floor in the Round of 32 of the Albany 1 Regional.
The Rebels (23-8) had a third straight quality finish under Yolett McPhee-McCuin during her sixth year. They finished in third in the Southeastern Conference and had won seven straight games before falling to LSU in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament. Now, behind a senior-led class with Marquesha Davis and Madison Scott atop it, they will look to do what they did a year ago, if not more, by at least making the second weekend.
The Golden Eagles (23-8) had another season of 19-plus wins in their fifth season under Megan Duffy. After going undefeated in the non-conference, they finished in a tie for third-place in the Big East before also losing in their semifinals to UConn. They are now looking to advance out of the first round for the seventh time ever in 15 tournament appearance and then make the regional for the first time in program history.
