While the Gamecocks are heavy favorites as the undefeated No. 1 seed in the conference tournament, Tennessee has found a way to play South Carolina a little bit too close for their comfort this season.
If a massive upset were to occur, a $10 bet on the Lady Vols would pay-out $128. The same amount on the Gamecocks would amount in $0.14 of profit.
A win for Tennessee would improve the Vols to 20-11 on the season and solidify themselves as a sleeper team to make a run in next week’s NCAA Tournament. A hypothetical loss for South Carolina likely wouldn’t influence their tournament seeding on selection Sunday.
Of course, every of the betting service is pitting the Gamecocks as heavy favorites heading into the SEC semifinal matchup. The winner will advance to the championship game on Sunday to face either Ole Miss or LSU.
