How to watch Utah vs. Gonzaga: Odds, stream, TV channel in Women's NCAA Tournament
No. 4 Gonzaga and No. 5 Utah will meet in the second round of the NCAA Tournament for a spot in the Sweet 16 on the line. The winner will advance to play in Portland against either No. 1 Texas or No. 8 Alabama depending on their matchup on Sunday.
The Bulldogs (31-3) reached the Round of 32 after an opening, 75-56 win over UC Irvine on Saturday. They hosted and handled the Anteaters after the half, specifically in the second and third quarters where the ‘Zags had a 45-19 advantage. Yvonne Ejim led the way in the 19-point victory with a 25-point, 14-rebound double-double.
The Utes (23-10) reached this stage after their 68-54 win over South Dakota State. A slow finish into the half squandered what was as much as a 20-point lead over the Jackrabbits. Still, they, including Alissa Pili with 26 points, found a way to do enough to get it back to double-digits and move on in the tournament.
