Indianapolis and Denver squared off Thursday night in a game marred by stagnant offenses. Neither team had a touchdown heading into the fourth quarter as both teams scored all their points via field goals through most of the game.
The Colts are trying to bounce back from a slow start to the season, going 1-2-1 in their first four games. They’re doing so without running back Jonathan Taylor, who missed the Thursday Night Football showdown with an ankle injury he suffered last week against the Tennessee Titans.
Denver, meanwhile, is also trying to right the ship with Wilson at quarterback and new coach Nathaniel Hackett at the helm. The Broncos took a 2-2 record into Thursday night’s game, but averaged 14.5 points per contest coming in.
