The next generation of NASCAR video games is coming this fall, and iRacing is making NASCAR 25, unlike any other game before it. Gamers are going to be able to race through all four national touring series the sanctioning body operates.

Starting out in your home garage in the ARCA Menards Series, your Career Mode quest will take you from the development series all the way up through Truck Series, Xfinity Series, and of course, the Cup Series.

The ARCA Menards Series hasn’t had much video game support since ARCA Sim Racing ’08 came out. Now it is going to play an integral part in NASCAR 25. You get to truly live out the path and dream of a stock car racer.

NASCAR and iRacing made the announcement today.

iRacing has completely changed sim racing. What they are going to be able to do with this new NASCAR 25 video game will be a breath of fresh air for many fans. Let’s face it, Motorsport Games was putting out terrible products time and time again.

With input from the likes of Dale Jr. and others in the industry, iRacing is going to get this one right. ARCA, Trucks, Xfinity, and Cup – it’s all there for you to take on.

“All four series will feature extensively in NASCAR 25’s Career Mode, where you’ll start in your backyard garage in the ARCA Menards Series and hone your skills to advance up the ranks,” iRacing said in a press release. “Sign contracts, earn money, hire more staff, expand your facilities, and earn respect on your way to becoming a multi-time NASCAR Cup Series champion.”

Soon, we will know which drivers, cars, and teams are available in the game. So, let’s hope we get to see a lot of fan favorites, even in the lower series.

‘NASCAR 25’ coming this fall

The last few years, NASCAR has done a lot to market the sport better. Having this game come out this season will be major. Yes, it won’t happen until the fall, but when this game drops, fans are going to love it.

Connecting to younger fans requires things like a good video game. It helps make the sport more tangible and relatable. Let’s face it, it’s cheaper to buy an Xbox and a video game than it is to hop into a real-life stock car. Or to get a sim rig.

This game is going to put a light on all the national touring series. I believe that ARCA, the Truck Series, and the Xfinity Series are all primed to pull in those younger viewers. Races aren’t as long, the drivers are younger most of the time, and the racing is really fun most of the time.

NASCAR 25 is going to be fun to play. It is also going to be immersive and detailed. Hopefully, it helps market this sport to a new generation.
