Jadeveon Clowney injury update: Panthers release Friday injury report
Ahead of their second divisional matchup of the season, the Carolina Panthers have released their injury report coming out of this week.
Carolina listed five players as out for this weekend when they play the Atlanta Falcons. Five more then carry a designation of doubtful or questionable for the matchup.
Out
- C Austin Corbett (Biceps),
- LB Josey Jewell (Hamstring/Groin)
- RT Taylor Moton (Elbow)
- TE Tommy Tremble (Concussion)
- C Andrew Raym (Concussion)
Doubtful
- OLB Jadeveon Clowney (Shoulder)
Questionable
- DE A’Shawn Robinson (Ankle)
- WR Diontae Johnson (Ankle)
- CB Dane Jackson (Hamstring)
- TE Ian Thomas (Calf)
The report also noted no statuses on LT Ikem Ekwonu (Elbow) and WR Xavier Legette (Shoulder). Each were full participants in practice earlier today for the Panthers.
Corbett is a loss after last week where he tore his bicep against the Chicago Bears. He is now once again lost for the season alongside some other members of the roster already like DT Derrick Brown and LB Shaq Thompson.

Three of Carolina’s top defensive players made the list too. Jewell, who is out, is second on the team in tackles with 30 while Robinson, who is questionable, is tied for fourth with 23. Clowney, who is doubtful, has a dozen of his own with two being for loss as well as a sack.
Johnson, the Panthers’ leading receiver, is also questionable as well. He has 23 catches for 262 yards and a pair of touchdowns over his first five games with the team.
After one win following a quarterback change, Carolina has now lost two more to fall to 1-4. That has them in need of finding a win in the column, especially with a loss already in the NFC South.
