Jadeveon Clowney trolls Atlanta Falcons fans after Week 18 win: 'See y'all in Cabo'
It’s the end of the regular season in the NFL and unfortunately for some teams across the league, it means their playoff hopes are officially extinguished after Sunday. The Carolina Panthers turned out the lights on the Atlanta Falcons’ postseason hopes, and they relished in the fact that their division rivals would have no more football left on the calendar. Following Carolina’s 44-38 overtime victory over the Falcons, Panthers’ defensive end Jadeveon Clowney was quick to remind their fans that their season was officially finished.
“See y’all in Cabo,” Clowney said following the game.
It was a classic battle on Sunday and even though the Panthers missed the playoffs, too, there are plenty of bright spots for both squads.
Carolina got some beautiful passing from quarterback Bryce Young, who looked much like the high-level prospect he’s been dating back to his Mater Dei (Santa Ana, California) days in high school. Young completed 25 of 34 passes for 251 passing yards, while tossing in three touchdown passes.
The former Heisman Trophy winner was spinning some beautiful spirals, and his play has to have Panthers fans excited about the 2025 season and beyond, as long as they surround him with the right pieces. Carolina running back Miles Sanders racked up over 100 all-purpose yards and a touchdown in the win.

The Falcons got some dynamic performances from their biggest stars, quarterback Michael Penix Jr., running back Bijan Robinson, and Drake London. London hauled in 10 catches for 187 yards and two touchdowns. He received a high volume of targets from Penix, with 18 on the day. Falcons running back Bijan Robinson had 28 carries for 170 yards and two touchdowns. While he had a slow start to the year, Robinson finished with 304 carries for 1,456 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns.
The Falcons also had a solid game from running back Ray-Ray McLoud III, who had four catches for 66 receiving yards. While it might be a disappointing finish for the Atlanta franchise, there are plenty of bright signs for the 2025 season, including the emergence of quarterback Michael Penix Jr. The first-round selection flashed the big-time talent that so many saw from him during his prolific college career. Pairing him with dynamic weapons like Bijan Robinson and Drake London should make their offensive attack one of the most exciting in the league next year.
