Jaire Alexander injury update: Packers announce Week 6 inactives vs. Cardinals
Green Bay Packers (3-2) cornerback Jaire Alexander is active for Sunday’s Week 6 home contest against the Arizona Cardinals (2-3).
Alexander, the two-time Pro Bowler, has been out of the lineup since Week 3, sidelined the past two weeks with a groin injury. Along with Alexander, receiver Christian Watson will suit up and play after missing last Sunday’s game with an ankle injury.
“Everyone just wanted to make sure I’m fully healthy before I step back out there because dealing with a groin injury — as a defensive back, you need that in a lot of cases. So, they just wanted to make sure that I was good to go,” Alexander said Friday.
