Immediately following the conclusion of Super Bowl LIX, a dominant 40-22 win by the Philadelphia Eagles over the Kansas City Chiefs, Jordan brand released an incredible 30-second commercial starring quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Hurts was named the Super Bowl LIX MVP after accounting for three touchdowns in the runaway victory.
Just as importantly, he silenced a lot of doubters.
“Hate that you said he wasn’t a top-10 quarterback?” the Jalen Hurts commercial began. “Hate that you said he couldn’t throw the ball? Hate that he got over when push came to shove? Hate that he always say the right things? Hate that in your all-knowing, arm-chair wisdom you were sure he’d come up short? …
“Hate you you got it wrong?”
The commercial then flashed to a still shot of Jalen Hurts grinning at the camera. It also used a quote from Hurts that fit oh so perfectly.
“Money is nice, championships are better,” Hurts said.
You can check out the full commercial below.
Jalen Hurts finished 17-of-22 passing for 221 yards, with two touchdowns and one interception. Perhaps more importantly, he ran for 72 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries, frequently moving the chains by slipping free from the pocket and picking up key first downs.

The Eagles opened up a thoroughly dominant 24-0 lead in the first half, then stretched that lead out to 34-0 in the third quarter before the Chiefs ever got going offensively. The defense was dominant and Hurts was on point.
The former Alabama and Oklahoma quarterback has been doubted throughout his career, but he has answered those question marks with a firm statement by winning the Super Bowl.
No less, he’s now a Super Bowl MVP.
Nothing like a little championship hardware to silence the haters. Jalen Hurts is now in rarefied air.
