James Daniels injury: Steelers guard carted off field vs. Colts
Pittsburgh Steelers (3-0) guard James Daniels was carted off the field in the first quarter of Sunday’s Week 4 road contest against the Indianapolis Colts (1-2).
Daniels sustained an ankle injury and is questionable to return. Second-year guard Spencer Anderson has replaced Daniels on the Steelers’ offensive line. With Daniels sidelined, Pittsburgh is missing four key offensive linemen: Daniels, Troy Fautanu, Nate Herbig and Isaac Seumalo.
Daniels, 27, has started 36 games for the Steelers since 2022, including every game this season. He was off to his best start in a Steelers uniform, earning an elite 93.3 grade from Pro Football Focus.
