Jayden Daniels, JuJu Watkins viral moment: QB spotted courtside for USC game following social media stir

Jayden Daniels continues to show support for JuJu Watkins during the NCAA Tournament. The Washington Commanders quarterback was seen at the USC vs. Mississippi State game on Tuesday night. This comes after Daniels and Watkins were seen watching the tournament together on Sunday. Daniels was spotted before Watkins suffered a serious injury in the first quarter of USC’s second-round game.
When Jayden Daniels and JuJu Watkins were seen together, it led to a lot of speculation about their relationship. Daniels was in the stands for USC’s victory in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Following the game, Watkins approached Daniels and sat next to him.
Daniels and Watkins are two of the top players in their sport. In his rookie season with the Commanders, Jayden Daniels was named Offensive Rookie of the Year after throwing for 3,568 yards and 25 touchdowns while rushing for 891 yards and six scores. He led Washington to an appearance in the NFC Championship game, losing to the eventual Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

“I just think for me, football is just, it’s fun and like I said, it’s like a safe haven for me,” Daniels told reporters in January. “Everything I’ve been through personally in my life, so I’m not really going out there and stressing about the moment because at the end of the day, I get to do what I love each and every week. Win, lose or draw. So, it’s just a blessing to be one of those kids that are able to fulfill their dream and live out their dream of playing on Sundays in the NFL.”

Watkins had a huge season for the Trojans this season. She was named the Big Ten Player of the Year and a unanimous All-American for the second consecutive season after averaging 24.6 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Before the NCAA Tournament, JuJu Watkins helped USC win the Big Ten regular-season championship.
“It’s unbelievable,” USC head coach Lindsay Gottlieb said on SiriusXM College Sports Radio in February. “I see it every day, the grace with which she handles really positive attention and the way she galvanized the community. When I got the job here, there were 700 people in the stands. Now, there’s thousands.”
