Jayden Daniels' mom rocks custom jacket covered in pictures of Commanders QB
Jayden Daniels‘ mom, Regina Jackson, is more than ready to watch her son compete in Sunday’s NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Jackson is in attendance at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, and appeared on the field during pregame warmups wearing a custom jacket covered in pictures of the Commanders quarterback.
Jayden Daniels, Commanders on the cusp of NFL history
The Commanders are hoping to reach their first Super Bowl since 1991 and Daniels is looking to make NFL history. Five rookie quarterbacks have made it to a conference championship game. None, however, have made it to the Super Bowl. Daniels could be the first, and he’ll certainly have a big role in it if it happens.

But regardless of the outcome, Daniels has a strong claim of being the best rookie the NFL has ever seen. And if it weren’t fact, you probably wouldn’t categorize Daniels as a first-year player.
“He’s got rare, in-the-moment skills that have allowed us to be into this spot,” head coach Dan Quinn said this week. “When it’s mental chaos going down and two-minutes, in these tight moments where it could feel that tight, he’s got the experience of somebody that’s played a lot more football than a first-year player.”
