Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah injury: Browns LB carted off after taking huge hit from Derrick Henry
In the third quarter of the Cleveland Browns’ showdown against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was carted off the field. The injury occurred during a massive collision with Ravens running back Derrick Henry.
Before leaving the game, Owusu-Koramoah boasted a team-high seven tackles, three tackles for loss and two quarterback hits, including a sack. The excellent performance is nothing new for Owusu-Koramoah, who leads the team in tackles, tackles for loss and interceptions this season.
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah also had an excellent campaign in 2023, amassing 101 tackles, 3.5 sacks, two interceptions and a forced fumble. For his efforts, he earned his first career Pro Bowl nod.
Before bursting onto the professional scene, Owusu-Koramoah spent four seasons at Notre Dame, where he collected 27 appearances and 25 starts. In his senior season with the Fighting Irish, Owusu-Koramoah won the Butkus Award as the nation’s top linebacker and the ACC Defensive Player of the Year Award.

Love went down in the third quarter after taking a hit to the back and was slow to get back up. Malik Willis is in under center. Love, meanwhile, is questionable to return with what the team is calling a groin injury.
Love previously went into the blue medical tent after suffering an injury in the first quarter. He did not miss a snap and was back on the field for the Packers’ next offensive possession. Love was clearly not 100% upon returning, with head coach Matt LaFleur telling FOX that he “can’t really move,” per Zach Kruse of The Packers Wire.
Love suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee in the Week 1 defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles (4-2) which caused him to miss two games. He returned in Week 4 against the Minnesota Vikings (5-2) and has led the Packers to three consecutive victories.
