Jerry Jones responded to the viral video with Jamie Foxx that circulated on X (formerly known as Twitter) over the weekend. During his regular radio spot, Jones didn’t quite “recall” the interaction.

Originally, the video between Jones and Foxx was on Instagram Live. It was a bizarre NSFW interaction between the duo.

“He’s a great friend,” Jones said on 105.3 The Fan. “We have had a lot of experience watching players, talking about players, talking about games. It’s just kind of ironic I think when that was supposed to have happened a few years back. But I don’t recall it.”

Well, if Jones did actually refer to a Cowboys player’s measurements, including private ones, he didn’t admit he made such comments. I guess we’ll leave that up to interpretation.

Jones is likely more worried about the play on the field than whatever’s on social media.

The Cowboys started off their 2024 campaign with a resounding 33-17 thrashing of the Cleveland Browns. Their defense was simply dominant in that one, giving Deshaun Watson all kinds of problems, forcing him to throw two interceptions.

He also only completed 24 of 45 passes for 169 yards, while throwing just one touchdown. Dallas didn’t need to do much on offense in that one. Quarterback Dak Prescott completed 19 of 32 passes for 179 yards, while tossing in a touchdown. Running back Ezekiel Elliott had 10 carries for 49 yards and a touchdown.

However, the last two weeks haven’t gone the way Jones anticipated. Following a 44-19 blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 2, Dallas didn’t fare any better this past Sunday.

After going into an early hole, the Cowboys’ comeback attempt fell short in a 28-25 home loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Jones’ franchise will be back in action Thursday night at the New York Giants.
