Two reporters who were clearly trying to upset Hall of Famer Jerry Rice did just that on Thursday evening. He was playing in the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe. The reporters asked Rice if the Chiefs receiving corps was good enough to win a Super Bowl. The 61-year-old then proceeded to get up in one of the man’s faces and say, “I will f*** you up!’ A man with Rice then intervened. But Rice yelled, ‘If you want some, come get some!’ before walking away.

Here’s video of the incident below.

Rice is not apologizing for what he did and basically said he was going to defend the San Francisco 49ers, who lost to the Chiefs in the most recent Super Bowl.

His son, Brenden Rice, was selected in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the LA Chargers. While at USC, Rice hauled in 103 catches for 1,674 receiving yards and 20 total touchdowns. He earned second-team All-Pac-12 honors in 2023 for the Trojans.

Jerry Rice is well known as one of the greatest receivers in the history of football. During his legendary NFL career, he had 14 1,000-yard seasons and set records that will be extremely difficult to break. Rice owns virtually every significant NFL receiving record. Some of his more notable career records include: receptions (1,549), receiving yards (22,895), total touchdowns (208), and combined net yards (23,546).
