Ahead of the Raptor King of Tough 250, Jesse Love, the Xfinity Series rookie, wins the pole award for the second week in a row. In the history of the NASCAR Xfinity Series, no driver has ever won the pole in their first two races.

Jesse Love had a historically dominant season in the ARCA Menards Series last season. Now, he’s already put himself in the history books with his dominant qualifying runs. Once again, teammate Austin Hill joins him on the front row.

Richard Childress Racing is always going to have these drafting packages just right. Still, it is impressive to see Love put the pedal down and get the pole in his first two starts ever. The rookie is off to a hot start.

While the race didn’t go according to plan in Daytona, this week is a new opportunity. Jesse Love is set to start the Raptor 250 in the front and he hopes to finish there as well. It won’t be easy to duel against his RCR teammate, Hill.

To make it even more impressive, Love has never raced at Atlanta Motor Speedway. That means his qualifying lap in Round 1 was the first time he had ever been on the track in a car. The kid has it, whatever it is.

Jesse Love making history early

When you consider all of the great drivers who have competed in the Xfinity Series, Jesse Love’s qualifying runs the last two weeks are truly awesome. Love means business and is ready to climb the ranks of NASCAR quickly.

With an ARCA championship already, Love will hope to try and win a championship in his rookie year in Xfinity. RCR made the move to get rid of Sheldon Creed and bring Love on this year and right now it looks like the right decision.

Considering that Love was a Toyota driver last season, it makes the move by RCR even better. You pull a true star in the making from a rival manufacturer and then put him in a situation where he can succeed.

Jesse Love is going to race hard tomorrow. Austin Hill is still the king of superspeedways in this series, though. After last week, Love will hope to just finish the race. How long can he keep this pole streak up?
