Jesse Loves wins Talladega pole, full Xfinity Series qualifying results

There will be no second round of NASCAR Xfinity Series qualifying today as rain moves into the area. Jesse Love is on pole. Love was the quickest in the first round, and that result will hold up for tomorrow’s starting lineup.
Jesse Love won the Spring race at Talladega last season. He is hoping to repeat this weekend and avenge his disqualification from Rockingham. Those ECR engines are always so great at these tracks. Let’s see if it translates to the race.
Austin Hill will join his RCR teammate on the front row. Justin Allgaier continues to be fast everywhere NASCAR goes. Joey Gase put his car on the second row in a shocking result.
“I got a lot of faith in Danny Stockman and ECR power, CT springs, all the guys back in Welcome, always do a really good job here. So, yeah, looking forward to tomorrow. Obvoiusly, my car’s as fast as Xfinity Mobile, and I think we got a really good shot at it. So, I’ve never sat on the pole here at Talladega, so that’s really cool.
“I think that we have a really good shot tomorrow,” Love said after qualifying was called. “Just got to stay out front and when we do lose track position, you know, keep a calm head, and just kind of methodically make our way up and not make any low percentage moves that you know, put us back a few rows.”

The full starting lineup is below. A few surprises in the top-10. Katherine Legge qualified on speed in her Jordan Anderson Racing entry.
Jesse Love on pole after disqualification at Rockingham
I am very surprised to see Parker Retzlaff, Jeffrey Earnhardt, Harrison Burton, and Sam Mayer down near the bottom of qualifying. Tomorrow’s race could end up being very interesting. It will all depend on how many wrecks we see and how many teams are able to make it to the end of the race in one piece.
Last week, Jesse Love won and was then disqualified at Rockingham. That has to sting, especially after failing to appeal the DQ this week to the National Motorsports Appeals Panel. Coming off of a rough week, this pole award is a nice boost.
Richard Childress Racing is so good at the drafting tracks. I have to imagine that Austin Hill will be up near the front of the field for the majority of this race. He is itching for another superspeedway win.
