The New York Jets are taking on the Houston Texans on Thursday night. Which happens to be Halloween night. And plenty of the players are in the spirit for the holiday, dressing up with some epic costumes. Jets linebacker Quincy Williams is currently the leader in the clubhouse with his impressive version of the joker from the hit movie, Batman.

The New York Jets have been a massive disappointment early

Quincy Williams has been one of the leaders of the Jets defense this season, racking up 57 total tackles and one forced fumble. The Jets have lost five straight, as they mortgaged their entire roster around Aaron Rodgers and so far, the early returns are not good. Rodgers has not been the man they’ve needed him to be, simply put. He’s completed 61.6% of his passes for 1,896 passing yards, while tossing in 12 touchdowns with seven interceptions. He’s also been sacked 18 times.

That’s not good when they’re going up against a tough Texans defensive unit that gave Caleb Williams plenty of problems when they faced him in September. According to Next Gen Stats, the Texans blitzed Caleb Williams on 41.7% of his drop backs (20 times), the unit’s highest blitz rate in a game under DeMeco Ryans. The Texans generated 12 pressures and five sacks when blitzing in that game, with nine defenders finishing with multiple pressures.

The Texans currently sit at 6-2 overall, despite quarterback CJ Stroud not having nearly the stats many expected of him this year. He only threw for 86 passing yards in their 24-22 loss against Green Bay. Instead, it’s been running back Joe Mixon who has carried their offensive attack, when healthy. Mixon already has four games of over 100 rushing yards, putting him among the better running backs in the league. He also has 14 catches for 115 yards and a touchdown. Mixon has done that in just five games of work.
