Jimmie Johnson's in-laws and nephew dead in murder-suicide
Jimmie Johnson’s family suffered a horrific loss. Reports indicate that the NASCAR star’s wife’s parents and her young nephew died, Monday, in Oklahoma.
TMZ Sports reported that police in Muskogee, Okla. are investigating the deaths as a murder-suicide. Police found the bodies of Jack and Terry Janway, along with 11-year-old Dalton Janway, at the couple’s home Monday night. They went to the house after Muskogee police received a 9-1-1 call at about 9 p.m.
Police say they first discovered one body in the hallway after arriving at the home. And then they heard a gunshot coming from another area of the house.

Police searched the rest of the home and discovered two more bodies. TMZ reported that all three died as a result of gunshot wounds. The cops believe that Terry Janway is the suspected killer. But they don’t know the motive as to why she killed her husband and grandson.
Dr. Jack Janway, who owned Janway Chiropractic and Acupuncture, was 69. Police found his body in the front of the house. Terry Janway was 68. The initial 9-1-1 call was from an unidentified woman who reported a disturbance and said someone was in the home with a gun. One outlet reported that police believed Terry made the call.

Jimmie Johnson married Chandra Janway in 2004. The couple are parents of daughters Genevieve and Lydia. This isn’t the only tragedy for Jimmie Johnson and his Janway in-laws. Jack and Terry’s son, Jordan, died in a skydiving accident in 2014.
In an interview with FOX23, Muskogee Mayor Marlon Coleman said he knew the family and had been treated at Jack Janway’s chiropractic clinic.
“One thing I want to say to my community right now is that more than ever, we need to love each other,” Coleman told Fox23. “We need to be concerned about each other enough that if we identify issue with family or friends, that we talk to them and get them the help that they need.”
Johnson was set is to compete in the Chicago Street Race this weekend. However, he withdrew from the race hours after news broke about his in-laws.
