Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow showed no shortage of confidence on Sunday after declaring his title window was permanently open. Burrow was asked if the current Bengals team had a Super Bowl “window” after their 27-16 win over the Ravens — prompting Burrow to say that Cincinnati could win a title any season that he is on the field.

“Joe Burrow was asked if he ever thinks about a winning ‘window’ for this current Bengals team,” detailed CBS Sports after his press appearance.

“The window is my whole career… our window is always open,” said Burrow.

With their win, the Bengals have secured the No. 3 seed in the AFC for the playoffs and Burrow’s second trip to the playoffs in his three-year career. Cincinnati is coming off a three-point Super Bowl loss to the Los Angeles Rams last February, and the current Super Bowl-caliber Bengals team will likely look very different over the next few years as all teams battle roster changes.

Despite the unknown future however, Burrow is confident enough in his own abilities to declare himself a title contender as long as he’s taking snaps. With his former LSU teammate Ja’Marr Chase by his side as one of the best quarterback and receiver combinations in the league, it’s hard to picture him watching the playoffs from home anytime soon.

Burrow has put together back-to-back 4,000-yard seasons after this year’s efforts, and has a career record of 24-17-1 as a starter in the past three seasons.
