Joe Burrow’s Cincinnati house reportedly burglarized during Monday Night Football in Dallas
While Joe Burrow was helping lead the Bengals to a 27-20 win over the Cowboys in Arlington on Monday Night Football, police were called to his Cincinnati home for a report of a break-in, per Emily Sanderson of WLWT.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the break-in with the news outlet, though they did not share any additional details. WLWT‘s Karin Johnson reported a woman called 911 saying her daughter was in the house at the time of the break-in.
“Someone is trying to break into the house right now. My daughter is there,” Johnson relayed. “This is Joe Burrow’s house. She is staying there. He’s at the football game. She’s wondering what she should do, if she should be hiding or if she should go outside.”
The woman’s daughter also called 911 and said, “Someone broke into my house… It’s like completely messed up.”

The NFL previously issued a security alert to teams and the players’ union after the homes of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce were broken into within days of each other in October.
“The league, the NFL Players Association and team security forces also have been monitoring the crime spree, which is believed to be tied to a South American crime syndicate,” Tom Pelissero of NFL Network wrote last month. “At least one other current NFL player’s home was burglarized in the past week.”
Burrow, 27, continued his standout season with the win over the Cowboys. Burrow completed 33-of-44 passes for 369 yards, three touchdowns and one interception as Cincinnati snapped a three-game losing streak.
