During the Ally 400, Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin were racing each other hard. For Logano, it was a bit too much. The NASCAR champion was more than upset at Hamlin for the way he decided to race the 22-car.

Whatever Denny did to Joey made the Team Penske driver furious. To play Devil’s Advocate, Logano was on two tires versus Hamlin on four fresher tires. At some point, a pass is going to be made and if that means contact, that is what will happen.

Joey Logano pulled up next to Hamlin and flipped him off. He then got on the radio and said that Hamlin “Got one coming.”

“Frickin’ drives through me into 1 where’s he going?!”

The 22 team tried to explain that Kyle Larson had a part to play in the whole ordeal and Logano did not buy it one bit.

Check out the video below and see Joey Logano lose his mind at Denny Hamlin.

Joey Logano is one to get fired up behind the wheel. His radio has been filled with four-letter words and other rants and ravings throughout his career. Not to mention, it is a hot one in Nashville today. That paired with being passed up on tire strategy and Hamlin’s aggressive driving sent Logano off the edge.

As for Logano’s question, “Where’s he going?” Well, Hamlin was P6 when the red flag dropped for weather. Meanwhile, Logano was P20. So, I guess the answer is to the front?

Joey Logano frustrated at Nashville

Starting the day in P26 was not where Joey Logano wanted to be. His qualifying effort was lacking and he paid the price for it early on. However, with a two-tire strategy on his pit stops, Logano was able to gain track position at one point.

In fact, Logano shot himself all the way into the top-10 going into Stage 2. He fell back but then another two tires and he had track position again. The only issue, he couldn’t keep up with the drivers on four tires.

Eventually, it caught up to Logano. He lacked the grip and therefore, speed, of the rest of the front half of the field. Despite start P14 on the Lap 129 restart, Logano fell to P20 by the time the red flag came out this afternoon.

With NASCAR ready to race again shortly, Joey Logano will try his best to salvage his day. He might even squeeze in some retaliation on Hamlin.
