Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh wants Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift to get married as soon as possible. In an interview with Us Weekly, Harbaugh explained why he wants the Kansas City Chiefs tight end to tie the knot with the 14-time Grammy Award winner.

“I hope they get married,” Harbaugh said. “I hope they have a bunch of kids. Heck, maybe he’ll get ready to retire here pretty soon to pursue that family aspect of his life.”

It sounds like Harbaugh is ready to see Kelce call it career since he has helped the Chiefs win three Super Bowls in the last five seasons. In fact, had it not been the Chiefs, the Ravens would have likely won the Super Bowl last season since the team lost to Kansas City in the AFC Championship game.

Harbaugh may not be a big fan of Kelce but he does enjoy listening to Swift every now and then. “I couldn’t say I’m a Taylor Swift fan because I don’t know enough of the songs,” Harbaugh admitted, “but the songs I’ve heard from my daughter over the years, I like ‘em. I think they’re excellent. I think she’s so talented. When you watch her perform, oh my god, it’s sick how talented she is.”

Unfortunately for Harbaugh, Kelce and Swift don’t have immediate plans to get married. “Travis has no plans on proposing to Taylor anytime soon,” an insider told US Weekly. “It’s not even on his radar. Marriage is something he takes very seriously and not something he would ever just jump into without giving it some careful consideration.”

How the Travis Kelce-Taylor realtionship impacted the NFL

The Kelce-Swift relationship was one of the big stories of the NFL in 2023, and the league love the added attention it received. Back in April, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell talked about the impact Swift has had on the league.

“There’s some things you can control or not control. Anybody who’s interested in the NFL, that’s good for me and good for everybody involved in the NFL,” Goodell explained. “You get somebody with the kind of exposure and the following like Taylor Swift, who does love football, I’ve known her for 15 years. I first met her in New Orleans.

“She loves the game, so that’s great for us,” Goodell continued. “Take the relationship out of it, which if they’re happy, I’m happy.”
