Johnny Manziel hopes to be cast in Blue Mountain State sequel

There is a sequel series to Blue Mountain State in development. If the producers want to go for a realistic choice in casting for the series by bringing in actual football players, Johnny Manziel has already volunteered himself.
Manziel, a Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback whose NFL career didn’t quite pan out, became known for how much he partied. That came shortly after the show initially aired. When combined, it almost felt like Manziel and the show went hand in hand.
“I wanna be in this in the worst way. Blue Mountain State 4eva,” Manziel posted.
With that, adding him to the cast of a future Blue Mountain State production seems like it makes a decent bit of sense.
That isn’t to say that there aren’t any questions about Johnny Manziel appearing in the show. For one, the show would need to decide it’s hiring athletes instead of actors, which sometimes does happen in sports shows and movies, though not always. After that, Manziel would also need to actually show his acting chops and not stick out in a bad way.
On top of that, who would Manziel play? Alan Ritchson is set to return as Thad Castle. So, that role is off the board, also implying that other former actors are going to return as their old characters. That means that Manziel would need to either play an entirely new character or possibly even himself.

Of course, all of that is speculative and all that’s truly known right now is that there’s an upcoming sequel and that Johnny Manziel would love to be a part of it, which makes sense to just about everyone who knows him and the show.
Johnny Manziel names his Mount Rushmore of former Texas high school quarterbacks
There are few states that produce more football talent than Texas. Johnny Manziel is a piece of that talent and joined a long line of excellent quarterbacks who have come from the state. With that long list of talented quarterbacks in mind, Manziel recently shared his personal Mount Rushmore of Texas high school quarterbacks.
“I mean, this is an impossible list,” Manziel said initially.
After getting pushed, he came up with his list. It started with Kyler Murray, a college star and top draft pick of the Arizona Cardinals. After that, he turned to Baker Mayfield and Robert Griffin III before rounding out his list with Andrew Luck. After that, he added a legacy pick of Matthew Stafford, to make five quarterbacks that Manziel listed.
