The entire Green Bay offense simply couldn’t be stopped on Sunday in their Wild Card game against the Dallas Cowboys. Jordan Love carved up the Cowboy secondary all game long, putting on yet another spectacular performance. He completed 16 of 20 passes for 272 yards, while tossing in three touchdown passes with no interceptions. That gave him a 158.3 passer rating, making him the first quarterback in NFL history to do that in his playoff debut.

Jordan Love has looked spectacular in the past few games for the Packers. He’s been surgical his past two games, and he’s starting to play his very best when his team needs him the most.

Jordan Love postgame interview

Following the game, Love was interviewed by Erin Andrews on the field in AT&T Stadium. The Packers managed to light up the scoreboard with 48 points. Just how loose were they? “Real loose, I guess. I mean, we came in here with the mindset that we were gonna dominate. A lot of people counted us out and you know, we didn’t care about that. We know what opportunity we had in front of us and made the most of it tonight,” Love said.

How were they able to dominate one of the best defenses in the league? “I mean, they’ve got a good defense but I think we’ve got a really good offense as well. Run game was awesome. Aaron Jones played a great game. Had three touchdowns. O-line did a great job. But it was an all-around team effort,” Love said.

How much did the impressive road victory in the playoffs mean to him and the franchise? “It means a lot. You know, it’s just a testament to the team and how we work, compete every week. And obviously now we’ve got a chance to go play the 49ers. So, obviously another tough road game. Great team. So, get ready for that,” the Packers young signal-caller noted.

In his first regular season as the full-time starter, Love was simply spectacular, throwing for 4,159 passing yards and 32 passing touchdowns. The only other quarterbacks in NFL history to exceed those totals in their first year as the full-time starter are Patrick Mahomes and Kurt Warner.

Green Bay will travel to San Francisco to face off against the 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round. That one will be played on Saturday, January 20th. Kickoff is slated for 8:15 PM EST on FOX.
