Jordan Love injury update: Adam Schefter reveals major question for Packers QB vs. Eagles
ESPN insider Adam Schefter provided an injury update on Green Bay Packers star quarterback Jordan Love on Get Up Thursday morning. According to Schefter, Love is expected to play against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
However, the elbow injury that he is dealing with could impact him and lead to him being less than 100% for the wildcard matchup.

“As for the Green Bay Packers quarterback, Jordan Love has been dealing with an elbow injury that has affected his hand and his throwing motion,” Schefter said. “He obviously was taken out of the regular season finale against the Chicago Bears.
“Was limited in practice [Wednesday]. He is expected to be out there on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles in a huge wildcard matchup.”
Love said Wednesday, via The Athletic, that he was “hopeful” he would be able to play against the Eagles on Sunday. He added that the numbness in his hand disappeared Monday, and he was having no issues gripping the football. The Packers and Love are obviously hoping that the numbness doesn’t return as the elbow injury was causing issues with his throwing motion.

“The question is, will that be any issue for him with his hand and his elbow, and will it impact the throws that he makes?” Schefter said. “But Jordan Love is expected to start, despite those issues in his elbow and his hand.”
Love left the game against the Chicago Bears this past Sunday and did not return. He told reporters afterward that he still didn’t feel 100 percent, per Matt Schneidman of The Athletic.
Love completed 7-of-12 passes for 69 yards before exiting the game. He made way for Malik Willis, who threw for 136 yards on 10-of-13 passing. The Packers dropped their second consecutive game and aren’t exactly rolling heading into the postseason. They’ll need Love to be at his best to have a chance in Philadelphia, facing a team that finished the season winning 12 of its last 13 games.
Love, who missed two games earlier this season with a left knee injury, finishes his 2024 campaign throwing for 3,389 yards, 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. The good news is that even if he isn’t fully healthy, he appears to be getting closer to full go.
