Packers quarterback Jordan Love continues to make rapid strides towards playing after injuring his MCL in the final seconds of a Week 1 loss. And though he might not see action on Sunday against the Titans, the fact Love is questionable heading into the weekend speaks volumes to the speed at which he’s healed.

The initial timeline for Love’s return to action was projected at around three to six weeks. And on Friday, when he was limited in practice again and questionable for Sunday, according to Green Bay’s injury report, Love hit the two-week mark from the initial injury.

After he practiced in pads in a limited capacity this week, and his turn to being questionable for Sunday’s game, there’s plenty of optimism that Love will be back on the very front of his recovery timeline.

The Packers moved to 1-1 with a win in Week 2 as Malik Willis led the offense to a win over the Colts. Willis is in line to get the start against his former team if Love cannot play.

Other than Love, only two other Packers enter the weekend with injury designations. Rookie offensive tackle Jordan Morgan is out after not practicing all week with a shoulder injury. And defensive back Carrington Valentine is doubtful with an ankle injury after he also didn’t practice this week.

Love was the only Packer limited on Friday who takes a designation into the weekend.

Along with Love, the other limited participants were: Kenny Clark (toe), Josh Jacobs (back), Elgton Jenkins (illness/glute), Tucker Kraft (shoulder), Josh Myers (ankle), Jayden Reed (calf), Zach Tom (quad) and Rasheed Walker (shoulder).

And while there’s still about 36 hours until a final decision will be made on Love’s status, the Packers could be inclined to take the patient route and see how he looks in another week of practice. Either way, though, his quick push back to just limited is a heartening sign.
