Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love was limited at practice on Thursday as he recovers from his injured knee. Per Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports, head coach Matt LaFleur said “We’ll give him up to game time.”

The Packers are getting ready to play the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Love injured his knee in the season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil earlier this month and missed the last two games. He returned to practice last week and has been working in a limited role ever since.

On Wednesday, Love spoke to reporters about doing everything he can to play on Sunday since the Packers are playing a 3-0 Vikings team. “We’re building it up for sure,” Love said of his workload, per Packers.com. “I’m trying to push it and I’ve been trying to get back as fast as I can no matter who the opponent was.”

With Love out of action, Malik Willis has been the starting QB. In the last two games, Willis has thrown for 324 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions while leading the Packers to two consecutive victories.

On Monday Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell said the team is preparing to see Love and Willis. “I think Malik is doing some great things and Jordan Love is one of the best young quarterbacks in our league. We’ll prepare as if both will play,” O’Connell said, per Pro Football Talk. “[T]hey are different with Malik in there. At the same time, he made some big-time throws and moved the team. There were chunks on the tape that we’ve got to try to keep off of our tape. Then Jordan’s in there, we’ve seen it firsthand — when he gets into a rhythm and gets going, he’s as talented of a thrower as there is in our league. We got to be prepared for both of them.”

O’Connell added: “We’re not going to get the benefit of knowing exactly what we’re gonna see so we’ve got to make sure we’ve got a game plan that’s extensive for both those guys. They’ve got a great group of skilled guys, a really good running back, great O-line, pretty special group.”
