Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love is dealing with an elbow injury but is doing everything he can to play in the team’s playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Packers released their first injury report of the week, and Love was listed as a limited participant in practice.

Love suffered an elbow injury in Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears. While speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Love was staying optimistic when it comes to his chances of playing.

“We’ll see. Yeah. I’m hopeful,” Love said, via The Athletic. Love also said the numbness in his hand disappeared Monday, and he has no issues gripping the football.

The Packers are also keeping a close eye on Love and backup QB Malik Willis who was also limited in practice on Wednesday due to a wrist injury he suffered in the Bears game. “I mean, it doesn’t feel normal, no,” Willis said, per ESPN. “I just did whatever they allowed me to do out there today, and we’ll see how it goes the rest of the week.”

Love missed two games in the regular season due to an injured MCL he suffered in the season opener against the Eagles in Brazil. When he was on the field, Love played at a high level, completing 63.1 percent of his passes for 3,389 yards, 25 touchdowns and 11 interceptions with a 96.7 passer rating in 15 games.

“This is the best ball he’s played,” Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said in December, per ESPN. “Just when I look at all the little things … in terms of his ability to manipulate the pocket when he’s under duress, getting the ball to his checkdowns, or whatever it may be, I think he’s playing at a really high level.”

Love and Willis were not the only Packers dealing with injuries. The rest of the injury report includes S Zayne Anderson (concussion, did not participate), S Javon Bullard (ankle, limited participant), LB Edgerrin Cooper (illness/knee, LP), DL Brenton Cox Jr. (foot, LP), OL Andre Dillard (concussion, LP), WR Romeo Doubs (Illness, full participant), DL T.J. Slaton (ankle, DNP), LB Quay Walker (ankle, LP), WR Christian Watson (knee, DNP) and S Evan Williams (quadricep, LP).
