This is Daytona. So, of course, there was a big wreck late. Josh Berry ended up on his roof and took a huge hit into the inside wall in the process. To top it off, the NASCAR driver then spun around like a top many times before his car stopped moving.
Josh Berry was very much in contention to win the Coke Zero Sugar 400 tonight. He had led laps, made strong moves to get to the front, and was consistent. That all came to an end when Austin Cindric was turned into him.
The No. 4 car lifted off the ground and flipped over. There was almost a flip before this one with Michael McDowell in a previous incident. Maybe NASCAR has more work to do to keep these cars from blowing over.
After the race, Berry downplayed the wreck. He was glad to be unharmed and ready to race again after a strong showing at Daytona.
“Yeah I’m all good. Actually probably wasn’t as bad as it looked. But man I’m bummed because we had a hell of a night going. Just such a great job by Rodney and this whole 4 team, car was so strong. We were in position and I just, I’m really proud of the job I did tonight, really proud of the whole team man. Because we were in contention and you know that could have been our day but didn’t work out. … Man it’s disappointing but whether we had won or flipped we were going to go to work Monday and try to win next week.”

Josh Berry loses out, Harrison Burton triumphs
What a race! Harrison Burton gets it done and wins the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway in overtime! He may have lost his job for 2025 but Harrison now has his first career win in the NASCAR Cup Series.
Despite losing his job, Harrison Burton has not given up. He doesn’t know where he is going next season. But wherever he goes, he will take a Cup Series win at Daytona with him.
Burton wins over Kyle Busch is overtime. Jeff Burton is in tears. This is an amazing night for the Burton family, one of the best in NASCAR.
