This year we are going to see Dale Earnhardt Jr. race in NASCAR once again. Now we have his Hellmann’s Mayonnaise paint scheme. The Hall of Famer is paired up with Hellmann’s for another shot at the Bristol Night Race.

JR Motorsports has been fairly busy lately with driver announcements. They have announced Late Model drivers like Bubba Pollard and Carson Kvapil to their Xfinity Series program. Of course, the Dale Earnhardt Jr. announcement.

Check out the latest paint scheme for Dale Jr. coming to Bristol later this season.

Had Dale Jr. not had a fire in his car last year, he very well may have won this Bristol race. He led laps and was in the top group all night long. His pit crew was able to get him in and out of the pits quickly and efficiently. It just wasn’t meant to be.

Another year later though, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is going to be gunning for that win. The NASCAR veteran proved that in limited starts, he can be a top-5 driver in the Xfinity Series.

The two-time Xfinity Series champion loves the series and loves getting a chance to race. It helps to keep him sharp and knowledgeable as a driver and broadcaster. Fans happen to love it, too.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. debuting short track icon at Richmond

Now, we have to wait until late in the season to see Dale Earnhardt Jr. race. However, he has some of his short track talents joining NASCAR very soon. Bubba Pollard is first up on the board, taking on the Richmond Xfinity Series race this Saturday.

Pollard has more or less been there and done that when it comes to the short track scene. The 37-year-old has a huge list of accomplishments and is only now getting his chance at making a start in NASCAR.

With JR Motorsports, Pollard is going to have great equipment and a real shot at competing at Richmond. It is a track more suited to his talents, he will be more comfortable there than at other tracks, and at that point you just have to line them up and see what happens.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is giving Pollard and other drivers a chance to get a foot in the door in NASCAR. There is a ton of talent all over the grassroots scene. While the sponsorship can be tricky to get at times, teams like JR Motorsports are doing a lot to make sure these drivers get an opportunity.
