Julian Love, Seattle Seahawks agree to three year contract worth up to $36 million, per report
Seattle Seahawks have come to terms on a new deal with safety Julian Love. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the two sides took pen to paper and inked an extension worth up to $36 million.
“Safety Julian Love and the Seahawks reached agreement on a three/year extension worth up to $36 million. The deal was negotiated by Drew Rosenhaus, Jason Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha,” said Schefter via X.
After spending the first four years of his NFL career with the team that drafted him, the New York Giants, Love bet on himself taking a two-year deal with the Seahawks worth up to $12 million in the 2023 offseason. That bet paid dividends as he had yet to play out his first deal with Seattle before earning his new extension, which could pay him as much as the entirety of his first deal per year.
Love played in all 17 games for Seattle last season but only started in 12 of them. However, that did not stop him from becoming a Pro Bowler by the end of the season. Love would finish the year with 123 combined tackles, 85 solo, 10 passes defended, four interceptions, two force fumbles, and one fumble recovery. His 123 combined tackles were second on the team, only behind Seattle’s defensive leader, superstar linebacker Bobby Wagner.
Christian Darrisaw agree to four-year
Minnesota Vikings left tackle Christian Darrisaw has agreed to a massive extension, per Tom Pelissero. Darrisaw has landed a four-year, $113 million extension, Pelissero reports.
