Julio Jones turned back the clock in the first half of the Eagles’ game against the Cardinals. The former Alabama star scored two touchdowns en route to a 21-6 lead.

Coming into the game, Jones was sparingly used in Philadelphia’s offense after being picked up midseason. But, he made his presence known Sunday.

You can see his second touchdown catch of the afternoon off a deflected Jalen Hurts pass.

Coming into the game, Jone had seven catches for 27 yards and one touchdown over the course of six games.

In the first half Sunday, he had two catches for 34 yards and two scores. At 11-4, the Eagles entered Sunday in first place in the NFC East and were alive for the No. 1 seed in the conference.

Since 2011, Jones was one of the top wide receivers in the league coming out of Alabama. Over the last three seasons, his production tailed off, but there’s no denying his talent at his peak.

In 2015, he led the league in catches and yards and led the league in yards again in 2018. Over the course of his career with the Atlanta Falcons, Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jones has 903 catches, 13,629 yards, 63 touchdowns and 15.1 yards per catch.

His career highs came in 2015 with 136 catches and 1,871 yards. Jones scored a career-high in touchdowns (10) in 2012, his second year in the league.
