On Friday night, the NASCAR Awards celebrated the best of the best in the sport. Today we got to see Justin Allgaier’s speech. The awards ceremony is finally on TV after a two-day delay between the live event and the televised version.

That doesn’t make the special moments any less special. Justin Allgaier waited a long time for his Xfinity Series championship. So he savored the moments up on stage as much as he could.

With his parents, wife, and two young daughters watching on from the crowd, Allgaier delivered a fantastic speech. He did it all through the tears welling up in his eyes.

“To my wife Ashley. Thank you for your endless love, patience, and belief in me. While you stood beside me through everything, you’ve always been there to push me and I can’t say that I love you enough,” Justin Allgaier said. “I know that it hasn’t always been easy but you’ve always been my rock and my biggest supporter. There isn’t anybody that I would want to go through this journey with more than you, and I’m truly blessed to have you by my side.

“To my beautiful daughters, Harper and Willow, you inspire me to push harder every day and to go further and to never give up, like Phoenix. I hope that one day you’ll look back and be proud of what we’ve accomplished. However, the pressure is on for next year’s playoff helmet.

“To my parents, no words will ever say ‘thank you’ enough for the sacrifices that you guys have made for me and my career. It’s truly been incredible, and I will always cherish celebrating this championship with you.”

Justin Allgaier will forever be a NASCAR Xfinity Series champion. The performance he put up to do it was an all-timer. He was almost two full laps down at one point, drove back to the front, and walked away with the championship.

A fantastic performance and a fantastic speech from Allgaier. Can he repeat in 2025?
