Justin Allgaier signs contract extension with JR Motorsports through 2026
Big news for Justin Allgaier and JR Motorsports. The Gator is staying with the organization through at least 2026. Right now, the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs are the focus, but this news could be a little boost to morale for the No. 7 team.
At 38 years old this will put Justin Allgaier at 40 by the end of this extension. He is still winning races and competing for championships. Not only that, he became the all-time top-10s leader in the series earlier this year.
Having a veteran like Allgaier is never a bad thing. He lives and breathes the Xfinity Series and is looking forward to more. Brandt will remain as a sponsor on the 7 as well.
Justin Allgaier is one of the best ever in the Xfinity Series. By the end of his extension, he will have more than 500 starts in the series and no telling how many more wins, top-10s, and pole awards that will come with as well.
“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Justin, the Brandt family and everyone at BRANDT Professional Agriculture,” said JRM CEO Kelley Earnhardt Miller in a press release. “BRANDT and Justin have become synonymous with JRM both on and off the track and Rick (Brandt)’s passion for this program remains unwavering. We are honored to continue to carry their brand. That No. 7 team has consistently been one of the strongest teams in the garage year after year, and I know that that is going to continue moving forward.”

Justin Allgaier happy to keep racing at JRM
You won’t find someone more comfortable with where they are in their career than Justin Allgaier. He tried the Cup Series thing. It didn’t work out. During his career, he likely could have taken another shot or two at the top-level of NASCAR, but didn’t.
Allgaier is in a position where he gets to be competitive on a weekly basis. He is racing for championships every season. He has to make the most of his time at Homestead-Miami and Martinsville or he could be left out of the Championship 4.
A lot of people have started to make comparisons between Denny Hamlin and Justin Allgaier. They are both drivers with almost every accolade they could want in their respective series. But there is the one thing that connects them – no championship.
This weekend, that championship pursuit continues. Allgaier has come so close in the past. Is 2024 the season where he gets the job done and knocks the big one off his bucket list?
