Justin Jefferson calls modeling harder than route running after Paris Fashion Week

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson had a lot of fun at Paris fashion week in June and even called modeling harder than route running!
One of the best, if not the best, wide receiver in the league is certainly at the top of his game right now. But he had a new experience when he walked and showed off some unique fashion.
He even did it with former LSU teammate Joe Burrow. But when asked, Jefferson said walking around was a bit harder than running a post.
“I think the modeling,” Jefferson said, via SI. “It’s out of my comfort zone, something I’m not used to doing. Of course walking these shows, I got a lot on my mind, I don’t wanna trip, it’s a lot of things that goes towards modeling that people don’t get to see. Being behind the scenes is crazy, it’s hectic.”
As far as Burrow is concerned, Jefferson was impressed with how he handled the crowd.
“A 10,” Jefferson said of Burrow’s rating of walking and showing off in the show. “Especially to have the suit that he had on, to showcase himself like that in his first show, it’s not something that not a lot of people would have the courage or confidence of doing. But Joe being Joe, he doesn’t care, he’s going to be himself.”
As far as Jefferson on the football field, he’s definitely excelled more there than fashion. But, you never know what the future holds.
In any event, Jefferson just signed an extension this offseason, something head coach Kevin O’Connell said should provide clarity.

“This was a really cool day to be a part of,” O’Connell said. “And one that we’ve been looking forward to for a very long time. It just provides clarity for everyone. It gives us three really good days. We can truly maximize the complete time allotted. We’ll get beneficial work in for our entire team and getting Justin in here, joining the team, it gives him some great days to gain some momentum.
“It’s clear looking at him today that he’s in great shape, dialed in, and now he can feel that much more smooth about how he’ll prepare and enter training camp.”
Jefferson landed his new contract extension after staying out of OTAs and team workouts this spring. Now, he can get to work with another J.J. – first-round pick J.J. McCarthy.
“Having J.J. in the building, a new energy, a new soul,” Jefferson said. “I mean, I love [McCarthy’s] confidence. I love his attitude, and of course him coming off a championship, you can’t have any more confidence than that.”
