Justin Marks highlights 'global' aspect of Trackhouse with NASCAR, MotoGP teams
In 2024, Justin Marks took his Trackhouse Racing brand global, reaching far more than just the United States and NASCAR fans. Of course, Trackhouse expanded into MotoGP this year and had a little bit of success for a first-year team.
Behind Formula One, MotoGP is the second-most watched motorsport in the world. They travel all over the globe going insane speeds on motorcycles, pinning themselves against the pavement and the bike and somehow pulling it back up again.
If you have never watched MotoGP, go look up a compilation on YouTube. It is enthralling. That’s part of why Trackhouse Racing and Justin Marks bought into the series with a pair of riders.
Speaking to Brad Gillie on The RACER YouTube channel, Marks talked about his pride in being a global brand. It isn’t just where they race, either. It is in their stable of athletes.
“What I really love about where we are as a company is that we truly are a global business, and we want to tell all different kinds of stories,” Marks explained. “And I’ve said this, what I’m really excited about in 2025 is that we’ve got athletes at Trackhouse that represent New Zealand, Mexico, the USA, Japan, and Spain. That’s an incredibly compelling and interesting story to tell.
“So, as far as, you know, that feeds the sort of overarching story of Trackhouse. But as far as how the two teams can interact with each other, we’re still exploring that.”

Shane van Gisbergen (New Zealand), Daniel Suárez (Mexico), and Ross Chastain (United States of America) make up the most diverse Cup Series trio in NASCAR by nationality. Then you add MotoGP riders Ai Ogura (Japan), and Raul Fernandez (Spain).
Justin Marks has champions at Trackhouse Racing, too. SVG is a three-time Supercars champion. Ogura just won the Moto2 championship this year. Daniel Suárez is an Xfinity Series champion.
While still new, Trackhouse Racing is growing. They took a step back in performance this year. Things didn’t click as they did in 2022 and 2023. However, they did get wins with Suárez and Chastain.
So, 2025 is a big year. Adding the Moto2 champ is a big deal. Then you think about SVG competing as a Cup Series rookie. When the season starts in February, there will be a lot of yees on both of these rookies as they ascend to the top series in their respective sports.
