More details have emerged on the incident involving NFL receiver Kadarius Toney and a woman he allegedly strangled, with details of the 911 dispatch audio uncovered by TMZ Sports.

A distress call was placed to 911 at 12:01 p.m. on Jan. 14 from a residence in Douglasville, Ga., where the incident occurred. Among other things, the woman on the phone call outlined the dispute with Toney and revealed she had fled the house barefoot to get away from him.

“He put his hands on me while I was holding my daughter,” the woman reportedly said, according to TMZ. “I’m seven months pregnant.”

911 operators then reportedly asked the woman if she needed an ambulance and she declined after noting she was not currently experiencing any contractions related to the pregnancy.

Shortly after, the woman informed the dispatcher that she was barefoot after fleeing to the neighbor’s house to get away from Kadarius Toney.

Toney was accused of putting his hand around the woman’s throat, per police documents obtained by TMZ. He allegedly squeezed “with enough force to cause her to be unable to breathe.”

Doctors stated the alleged attack left the woman with red marks on her neck and petechial hemorrhaging in her eyes. Toney allegedly also took the woman’s phone from her during the altercation to prevent the woman from calling 911.

Toney is a two-time Super Bowl champion, winning Super Bowls LVII and LVIII with the Kansas City Chiefs. He began his career with the New York Giants in 2021 but was traded midseason in 2022 to KC.

After being released by the Chiefs, Toney spent time with the Cleveland Browns in 2024 but was eventually released on December 10th.

Over the course of his NFL career, Toney has 82 catches for 760 yards, three touchdowns, 22 carries, 112 rushing yards and one touchdown.

He did not play in the 2023 postseason but contributed seven catches for 50 yards and a touchdown in the 2022 postseason. Toney’s touchdown proved pivotal after a great punt return against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII.

A former first round pick out of Florida by the Giants, Toney finally broke out in college as a senior. He finished the 2020 campaign with 70 catches for 984 yards, 10 touchdowns, 19 carries, 161 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown.
