Brothers Jason and Travis Kelce squaring off against one another was one of the biggest storylines of Super Bowl LVII, as the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Philadelphia Eagles in Arizona.

Travis ultimately got the last laugh, with his Chiefs team defeating the Eagles 38-35. But apparently, there wasn’t much laughter after the game when the confetti was raining down, as Travis revealed his mixture of emotions on the ‘Pardon My Take’ podcast after defeating his brother on the biggest stage.

“It was a weird feeling at the end of that game man, because I’ve been around the Eagles enough,” Kelce said. “Know the coaches, know the players, they treat me like family whenever I’m there. When Jason comes to KC it’s the same thing, a whole lot of respect for a lot of guys over there.”

Aside from the lifelong bond he has with his brother, Kelce has some ties with other Eagles players as well. Quarterback Jalen Hurts even made an appearance on the Kelce brothers’ podcast ‘New Heights’, recording a sit-down interview with Hurts in Philadelphia’s facility.

Because of this Travis’ emotions were all over the place after the game, back and forth between celebratory and heartbroken, which he detailed without any filter to Big Cat and PFT Commenter.

“You see Pat Mahomes and you’re like yeah, yeah,” Kelce said with celebratory enthusiasm. “And then you see my brother and it’s just like f*** dude I’ve lost the Super Bowl before, I know how this s*** f****** feels, f*** that. And then you see Andy Reed and you’re back up on top of the rollercoaster and then you see Lane Johnson and you’re just like ugh f*** man.”

Kelce may have two Super Bowl rings now, but he also knows the painful feeling of losing a Super Bowl after the Chiefs were defeated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021. And on a deeper level, he’s even familiar with how the Eagles felt following their Super Bowl LII win versus the New England Patriots.

“So it was like an up and down, up and down the entire time and it’s like how the f*** am I supposed to feel about this right now? Because I was there crying in 2017 when the Eagles f******* won it in Minnesota, I was in f******* tears of joy,” Kelce admitted. “It was a rollercoaster of emotions for sure.”

Thankfully, it seems like Kelce has since gotten off of the rollercoaster of emotions and is enjoying his post-Super Bowl win offseason. From hosting Saturday Night Live, to the first-ever Kelce Jam music festival, throwing opening pitches, and visiting the White House, it’s safe to say that Travis Kelce is now in much better spirits following an emotional end to the season.
