The Kansas City Chiefs unveiled their latest Super Bowl rings on Thursday night. The franchise had a red carpet ceremony with all the players and coaches getting their rings in person. And on Thursday evening, the team unveiled the remarkable pieces of sports jewelry in a video on their Twitter page.

Check them out below. There are some pretty amazing details.

The “top can be completely removed and converted into a pendant via a hidden bail that seamlessly folds into the ring top,” the ring maker, Josten’s noted in an article in The Kansas City Star. The ring top was made with 16 rubies set in yellow gold on top of the ring. Each ruby represents a different division title in the Chiefs’ history, dating back to 1962 when the team was in Dallas.

Each Chiefs players’ name is also on the left side of the ring. The rings also have the final score of their Super Bowl LVII win over the Philadelphia Eagles. There are plenty of other amazing details for the rings, which are an amazing piece of jewelry. For an in-depth look of the details of the rings and what they symbolize, check out this excellent in-depth report from Pete Grathoff of The Kansas City Star.

Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes was part of the design process of the rings, but didn’t get to see the final edition until they were presented.

“I’m very excited. I mean that’s what you work for is to win the Super Bowl and get those rings. They last a lifetime. So be able to see them, I know they’ve done a great job with them. I got to help out a little with the creating process,” Mahomes said in an article written by Heidi Schmidt of fox4kc.com.

As long as Patrick Mahomes, Andy Reid, and Travis Kelce are on the same roster together, they’ll continue to be the favorites to win the Super Bowl. The trio have been pretty much unstoppable during the time they’ve spent together.

Chiefs’ QB Pat Mahomes wins his second Super Bowl ring

Mahomes capped off his sixth year in the NFL with his second Super Bowl championship. The only quarterback to top 5,000 passing yards in the regular season, the former Texas Tech star also added another 703 passing yards in the postseason.

Mahomes had 41 passing touchdowns in the regular season and another seven on his way to winning it all. Although he had 12 interceptions through the year, he cleaned it up during the playoffs and didn’t record a single one.

The 27-year-old’s accuracy was as high as it’s ever been in his career in 2022. He posted a completion percentage of 67.1% and bumped it up to 72% in the postseason.

Unlike Joe Burrow, Mahomes had a season to acclimate to the league before taking over as the Chiefs’ starter in 2018. His first season starting revealed his potential to be the best quarterback in the country when he passed for 5,097 yards and 50 touchdowns.

The Tyler, Texas, native is the youngest player to ever win a league MVP and a Super Bowl title. Additionally, he became the fastest QB in NFL history to reach 10,000 career passing yards.

In Pro Football Focus’s quarterback rankings for the 2023 season, Mahomes is, unsurprisingly, No. 1. Following the Super Bowl MVP are Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Burrow.
