Sin City will see a blue-blood matchup tonight in the top-twelve between No. 1 Kansas vs. No. 11 Duke in the Terry’s Chocolate Vegas Showdown.

The Jayhawks (5-0) have maintained their spot as the top team in the nation to this point in the season. The Blue Devils (4-1) then have responded to their first loss of the year as of late, especially with what they did out west already to end last week.

Kansas is still at No. 1 in the AP Poll through three weeks with what they’ve done through five games. After their opener, they won two games against other quality brands in North Carolina and then versus Michigan State in the Champions Classic. They’ve now since won two more with their average margin of victory to this point being by 16 points. Hunter Dickinson is leading the way for them as a graduate student with a double-double of 17.8 points and 10.4 rebounds while six other players are posting anywhere from seven to thirteen points per game.

Duke is now outside of the Top-10 but it still one of the better teams in the country. They did have three blowouts over their first four games but the other outcome was a five-point loss to Kentucky in the Champions Classic. However, they made up for it by playing against Arizona in a true road game in Tucson within the Top-20 and winning at 69-55. With that, Cooper Flagg, the freshman phenom, is still in the spotlight for the Blue Devils with 17.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists with balanced contributions from there on their roster.

Odds for Kansas vs. Duke

The over/under for the game is then set at a total of 148.5 points.
