Location: Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown, West Virginia
The Mountaineers were unbeaten in Big 12 play before this past week, when they suffered their first loss by a score of 28-16 at the hands of Iowa State. Despite ranking third in the conference in rushing yards per game entering Saturday, WVU’s backfield tandem of CJ Donaldson and Jahiem White managed only 63 yards on 22 carries.
It also didn’t help that quarterback Garrett Greene threw for a pair of interceptions in the loss to the Cyclones. He has typically been efficient this season both through the air and on the ground and will look to regain his rhythm against the Wildcats.

As for K-State, it lost its first Big 12 game this season but has since reeled off back-to-back wins. The Wildcats most recently defeated Colorado by a score of 31-28 on Saturday in the first matchup between the two schools since 2010.
Kansas State used a 50-yard touchdown pass from Avery Johnson to pull ahead late for the win against the Buffaloes. He finished the game 15-of-23 passing for 224 yards and two touchdowns to one interception along with a rushing score.
Those are the kind of dynamic plays the Wildcats will hope to see from him this week against West Virginia.
