Kansas State forward Arthur Kaluma declares for 2024 NBA Draft

Kansas State forward Arthur Kaluma has declared for the 2024 NBA Draft, he announced on his Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon.
Kaluma is coming off a strong season for the Wildcats, having averaged 14.4 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. It was his junior season at Kansas State.
“First and foremost, I would like to thank God for the opportunities that he has given me playing this game,” Kaluma wrote on Twitter. “I would also like to thank Coach (Jerome) Tang and the whole Kansas State staff for giving me the chance to play in the best conference in college basketball.
“The connections I have built at K-State will last a lifetime. Thank you to all my teammates and fans for their support. Without further ado, I would like to announce that I am declaring for the 2024 NBA draft.”
In each of his three years in college Kaluma has averaged in double-figures. He began his career at Creighton, playing two seasons there before transferring to Kansas State.

In his first season at Creighton, Arthur Kaluma averaged 10.4 points and 5.4 rebounds. He upped those numbers to 11.8 points and 6.0 rebounds as a sophomore.
He obviously improved upon them yet again at Kansas State. Kaluma recorded five double-doubles this season for the Wildcats, while he also had six 20-point contests. He logged a career-high 34.5 minutes per contest, while starting 32 of 33 games for Kansas State.
Prior to enrolling at Creighton and then later transferring to Kansas State, Arthur Kaluma was rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 51 overall recruit in the 2021 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
He also checked in as the No. 12 power forward in the class and the No. 4 overall player in the state of Arizona, hailing from Glendale (AZ) Dream City Christian.
