Remember that bit of gossip former NFL receiver Brandon Marshall passed along? He said Taylor Swift had Kanye West removed from his seats because the rapper had positioned himself in front of the pop star’s Super Bowl suite.

West is denying any of that occurred. He wasn’t near her suite, nor did anyone have him moved. This was no photo bomb situation, his reps said.

A Kanye West representative told TMZ “this is a completely fabricated rumor. It is not true.”

Marshall passed along the Kanye West rumor earlier this week while on the I AM ATHLETE podcast. He claimed:

“In front of Taylor Swift’s booth. Mask on with his logo on the mask, right? Typical Kanye,” Marshall said. “Taylor Swift gets pissed off, she boom-boom, makes a call or two, everybody’s involved. He gets kicked out the stadium. Hot tea, hot tea, hot tea.”

Photos show Kanye West was at Super Bowl

Taylor Swift was at her 13th Chiefs game of the season to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. She always sits in a suite. The suites at Allegiant Stadium were going for $2.5 million. The seats in front of them also were pricey, but it’s unclear how much.

TMZ reported that Kanye West and his wife, Bianca Censori, were at Allegiant Stadium.

Here’s why there’s a rift between Swift and West. Fifteen years ago, Swift was making her crossover from country to pop. She attended the VMAs and won for Best Video by a Female Artist. Beyonce’s Single Ladies was the competition. As Swift accepted her award from Shakira, Kanye West jumped out of his seat and on stage,

“Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’mma let you finish,” he said. “But Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time! One of the best videos of all time!”

From Swift’s standpoint, the Super Bowl went well. The Chiefs won the game in overtime. She and Kelce kissed on the field as other players hugged, high fived and jumped in the confetti. And now that football season is over, Swift can go back full time for her concert tour. She has a show in Australia this Friday.
